রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ (রামেক) হাসপাতালের করোনা ইউনিটে গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় আরও ১০ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। গতকাল শনিবার (৪ সেপ্টেম্বর) সকাল ৮টা থেকে আজ রবিবার সকাল ৮টার মধ্যে তাদের মৃত্যু হয়।
গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় রামেক হাসপাতালে মারা যাওয়া ১০ জনের মধ্যে রাজশাহীর ৪ জন, চাঁপাইনবাবগঞ্জের ৩ জন, নাটোর, নওগাঁ ও কুষ্টিয়ার একজন আছেন।
রামেক হাসপাতালের পরিচালক ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল শামীম ইয়াজদানী জানান, মৃতদের মধ্যে করোনা আক্রান্ত হয়ে ৬ জন ও উপসর্গে ৩ জন মারা গেছেন। এছাড়া নেগেটিভ হওয়ার পরেও অন্য জটিলতায় একজনের মৃত্যু হয়।
তিনি আরও জানান, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় রামেকে নতুন ভর্তি হয়েছেন ২৭ জন রোগী। বর্তমানে রামেক হাসপাতালে ২৮৬টি করোনা ডেডিকেটেড শয্যার বিপরীতে রোগী ভর্তি আছেন ১৪৫ জন।
